Alvarado Middle School is in the New Haven Unified School District. We're Located in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. The National Blue Ribbon Award Winning school serves a student population of about 1000. The educational philosophy of the school is grounded in the belief that all children can learn and be successful, and that learning can best be accomplished in heterogeneous groups which stress cooperative learning while maintaining individual accountability and hands-on instruction.
